Wow, medichecks have raised their prices a lot :((( I can't keep paying this... Has anyone got a discount code?

P.S. I have noticed they don't even offer RT3 anymore even if I did want it one day

Medichecks have special offers on Thursdays for thyroid related tests, they're pretty random offers so just keep checking and see if the test you want comes up. If not there is a 10% discount code THYROIDUK for any test not on offer.

It's not worth bothering with rT3, it can only tell you where you are in range (or over range). If over range it can't tell you why and there are many, many reasons for high rT3 and only one to do with thyroid and that's when there is an excess of unconverted T4 - in that case you'd see that from your FT4 and FT3 results - your FT4 would be high and your FT3 would be low. So it's really not worth spending the money on an rT3 test.
