Medichecks Ultravit no longer includes Folate! Have to pay extra?

Sorry I’m just having a moan. I just went to purchase the Ultravit test which I normally buy and they’ve taken the Folate test out. Now you have to buy the Ultravit Plus £119 to get folate included - 25% discount on Thurs but still why suddenly take it out!!

Do Blue Horizons do any discounts like Medichecks?

Blue Horizon occasionally have discounts.

However, with all their "Premium" tests you can use the code shown on ThyroidUK's website here:

Their Thyroid Premium Gold is much the same as the old Medichecks Ultravit and includes the following:

TSH, FT4, FT3, TT4, Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies, Thyroglobulin Antibodies, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, Folate, Ferritin,CRP, Cortisol and Magnesium.

The Premium Gold test can be done by fingerprick and currently the code brings the price down to £90.30

Medichecks have had loads of tests recently where folate test failed and has had to be repeated

Aaahhh ok - it’s so expensive and just felt like a way of ‘sucking’ a bit more out of us, I don’t think the Ultravit has reduced as a result of Folate being taken out.

Anyway think I’ll try the Monitor My Health - I didn’t know about that one so Thankyou, also done in a NHS lab so Dr/Endo might accept the results....

You’ll need to do separate vitamin test ...via Medichecks if you want to test vitamins
