I’ve just done another 24 hour urine test and waiting for the results. I had it done at the hospital this time.
From what I understand, the 24 h urine analysis is not reliable diagnostic tool as it won´t tell if cortisol levels are sometimes high and sometimes low (which often happens in various stages of adrenal fatigue). The 24 h urine test simply gives you an average over a 24 h period, but no way to tell if cortisol levels are low in the morning and high in the evening (the opposite of what they are supposed to be). So not sure how valid the results are, to be honest. I think the results of the 24 h saliva test are more valid, and hope more members will comment.
