Hi, I'm hypo/hashis and taking 100mg thyroxine.
My feet are very sore despite stretching exercises and wearing supportive cushioned shoes.
Any advice/recommendations would be very welcome. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙂

Yes get FULL thyroid and vitamin testing
Plantar fasciitis very common with low Ft3 due to poor conversion of Ft4 to Ft3
Poor conversion common with Hashimoto’s
Low vitamin D often linked too
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) diagnosed by raised Thyroid antibodies
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)
Is this how you do your tests?
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or thyroid antibodies or all relevant vitamins

I would ask your doctor to test your B12 - in fact a serious condition called Pernicious Anaemia should be excluded.
Excerpt:
"Your doctor may recommend other blood tests to check:
Your vitamin B12 level. A low level of vitamin B12 in the blood indicates pernicious anemia. However, a falsely normal or high value of vitamin B12 in the blood may occur if antibodies interfere with the test.
Your homocysteine and methylmalonic acid (MMA) levels. High levels of these substances in your body are a sign of pernicious anemia.
For intrinsic factor antibodies and parietal cell antibodies. These antibodies also are a sign of pernicious anemia.

Thanks for your reply, as well as obtaining a private blood test, I shall see my GP regarding this.
I'm so glad I have found this forum.... Invaluable ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have both Hypo and P.A. and my mother had P.A. unfortunately her GP told her that she needed no more injections of B12 as 'her bloods were now fine'.
Both my sister and I thought that was 'good' - no internet then.
Unfortunately the doctor was wrong because my mother went on to develop stomach cancer. Doctor kept giving her prescriptions for the 'pain' assuming it was due to indigestion.
