Mistake in my dosage

Hello all

I have hypothyroid and pregnant

My dose increased to 125 daily

The thing is that i by mistake took 100 thyroxeen and instead of additional 25

I took duphaston tap which i am prescribed for my pregnancy

So how to fix this mistake

Shall i take 125 thyroxine again after 5 hours of food

Or shall i take only 25

Since thyroxine meds interefer with duphaston ( progestrone )

If your dose is 125mcg and you've taken 100mcg, you just add the extra 25mcg today, or take 150mcg tomorrow instead of 125mcg.

But if the 100 is effected with duphaston shall i repeat the dose

How does it affect thyroxine in particular?

We always say leave 2 hours between thyroxine and other medication as it can affect absorption, but I personally wouldn't take an extra 100mcg; however, the choice is yours.

Cause i had thyroxine together with duphaston by mistake 😢

Yes, I understand that. But nobody here is medically trained and can advise you whether or not you should take another 100mcg as well as the 25mcg. Why not ask your GP's advice?
