Hypothyroidism and back pain.

Anyone know any connections between hypothyroidism and back pain. Especially herniated discs and arthritis. I've been having some serious trouble and can't seem to get relief. Any tips on pain relief in the lumbar area?? I'm running out of hope between both problems and really really struggling.

I find self-injecting with B12 weekly helps back pain. I had spinal surgery to release spinal cord back in 2007. B12 works on the myelin sheath protecting nerves.

I was in agony and very stiff. Took ages to straighten from sitting to standing. For me this was caused by undermedication. Resolved now my levels are better.

Thanks for the replies. My doc is slowing raising my levels because I had bad side effects from other meds. I started taking b12 liquid orally do you think that will help? I have multiple herniated discs and arthritis and stenosis and I'm not even 40 yet. I can't feel part of my thigh sometimes and have been debating surgery. Not really sure what to do just that I can't keep going like this. I asked my doc about the vitamin deficiency and he kept saying I'll be fine once the tirosint dose is correct.
