Medichecks are still trading and doing everything they can to get tests processed as quickly as possible.
Royal Mail service has been quite severely impacted so there have been some delays with orders getting to customers but also with samples getting back to the lab.
As consequence, Medichecks have upgraded all return postage to Royal Mail Tracked (1-2 days) for all orders for the time being. Your kits can still just be put in the post box but is an enhanced service.
Although this has meant that they have had to put their prices up by £2 across the board this is a better situation for everyone so that samples are not spoiled.

And they're paying at least 50% of the cost of that service which is generous of them. They're charging us an extra £2 and the cost is - without signature their end £4.02, with signature £4.86 for a letter 750g size, small parcel size is £5.46 and £5.82. So in the current circumstances it's a bargain I think! Perfect for me as I can't go and queue in the Post Office as I would normally send it back Special Delivery Next Day, I can just pop it into the post box and it can still be tracked as there's a tracking number on the label on the envelope. Win win!
Good to know! Thanks. I contacted them recently to ask about this but got no reply. I was concerned about doing a test and the samples not getting back to them in time. I wouldn’t be able to visit the post office to return them. Now just to wait for an offer on the ultravit!
I have just had a test and they emailed me saying there was an error and are sending me out a new test kit. My tests normally get done pretty quick but it seemed a few days even before getting acknowledgement that they had received it. Now I know why! Thanks for the update.
I notice they’re not operating the option to have the blood drawn though. I can’t do the finger prick test so wondered if anyone knows of an alternative in London? I really feel that I need a tweak to my medication, but need the test results to send my doctor first. Thank you.
They are only offering fingerprick or "arrange your own blood draw". Blue Horizon are doing the same. I assume that there are no clinics or hospitals offering a private blood draw service at the moment. Have you asked your GP surgery if they are willing to do it for you?
I mean will your GP surgery do the blood draw My surgery definitely wont, nor will they provide a letter to the hospital asking them to do it, but some surgeries are a bit more co-operative.
