The Patients Association are looking for patients who would like to input into the General Medical Council's new corporate strategy, to make sure its key themes reflect what is important to patients.
They are looking for eight to ten patients to take part in an online focus group about the GMC’s forthcoming new strategy.
It will be an online session, so you will need a computer and a stable internet connection. It will last between ninety minutes and two hours, and take place in early May – the exact date and time are TBC, but likely to be the afternoon of the 7th.
Participants will receive a £50 high street gift voucher as thanks for their time.
If you would like to take part, please click below to email to their project manager at kate.arklessgray@patients-association.org.uk

Assume that is for all kinds of medical conditions, not only thyroid?
"Participants will receive a £50 high street gift voucher" What high street? Such a thoughtless way of putting it, given the current circumstances.
Any idea of what sort of patient they are looking for or the kinds of things they are likely to ask? Although with only 8-10 people it would hardly be a representative sample!
What if we all apply! Or at least those with the more difficult problems such as ignorant doctors, needing T3 only ( DippyDame ?) and/or being forced to self-medicate to have any hope of feeling reasonably well.
Many of us would probably do it for free if we thought it would help get proper treatment.
