Hello everybody.i hope you are all safe and try to be as positive as possible. I'm not back to tire you but just to let you know that I had a call from my gp that they will start me on thyroxine supplementation.i didn't believe they would but I'm happy they did take me seriously. Take good care everybody and many thanks for all replies ❤

That is what I'm hoping but I know it will take some time.i was also very surprised when the gp told me that my tsh level should maintain wuthin 0.1_0.5 ranges!

Hopefully you’ll feel well soon, I cannot take any levo as I’m allergic to the fillers. Doctors won’t give me anything else, so still untreated since last September,

Oh no!I had a pm from another person in here few weeks back, about alternative supplement, but not medication. She said that her tsh has gone down and even felt better.do you want me to pm you the name of it so you have a look? And I don't understand why they don't have alternatives for people that can't tolerate levo?

Thanks 😊 I would appreciate that please, my Vit d and B12 is fine as I was taking etc supplements before being diagnosed with UAT,

I have chronic pain condition for 15 years before UAT, and house bound but felt unwell for three years and doctors wouldn’t do blood test, till I demanded one!

And my results were Tsh 30.5 and T4 7.3. They not bothered if I’m taking anything and not even checked on me or offered alternative.

But not feeling that great.

That sounds really terrible. Perhaps you could consider writing a new post and seeing if any of the knowledgeable people on here have any thoughts. greygoose SeasideSusie SlowDragon

I felt absolutely terrible with much less severe TSH elevation and T4 deficiency, you poor thing. Can you ask for T3 drops?

I dont think the levo is suiting me. When on 50 I got hot flushes and awful tummy ache. Couldnt get off the loo. I cant get tested until Sept just told by gp. Im worrying. My count was 5 following surgery. Im trying once more 50 after two days seem ok. Is it true levo is from Pigs.? what alternative can I have? thank you.
