Can you freeze NDT .?

I have take NDt in the past , but not at the moment .isit possible to freeze so it doesn’t date expire ? If so for how long ? Thankyou in advance

I have frozen my Thyroid S because I don't need it at the moment and I am worried I might not be able to get any in the future. Some people think it is ok to freeze and you just take out what you need for a week at a time. Others have said it loses some of it potency so there is conflicting advice I'm afraid. Hopefully someone who has done this will be along to advise you.

NDT does lose its potency by being kept in the freezer. This only manifests itself for some time after being taken out. I am not prepared to waste any more pills pills by conducting tests of my own to establish more precise details than these.

The exact length of time in the freezer may affect how long it takes for them to deteriorate.

You possibly may avoid any deterioration if you merely take out a small number of pills at the same time.

If you feel the need to freeze them, do not merely leave them in an unopened tub of 1000/500 pills as this will disturb all of the pills and potentially ruin all of them when you extract just a few. Use a number of small containers of some form, possibly available from pharmacy or Ebay.

Ahh ok thanks for that ,, the expiry is july 20 ,, might be worth splitting them up or will be waisted anyway ! Thanks for your advice . Val
