You can take it but not at the same time as your Levo.

We leave 2 hours between levo and any other medication but if necessary I do take Paracetamol/Caffeine tablets one hour away.

Panadol extra is a very expensive way of buying Paracetamol/caffeine tablets. I get mine from the Co-op and they cost 75p for 16. Aldi and Lidl are about 49p for the same.

You do need to be absolutely specific when asking questions. There are two products called something like that:

Panadol Extra Advance Tablets

Panadol Extra Soluble

As it happens, both contain paracetamol and caffeine.

Some people who are hypothyroid find caffeine affects them more than before they had thyroid issues. If so, a product that does not contain caffeine might be a better choice.

Do not take at the same time as levothyroxine - both products contain many ingredients and it would probably be impossible to fully check whether any affect absorption of the levothyroxine.

If I need paracetamol, I usually get the cheapest supermarket pack. And I usually only take one unless I feel particularly bad.
