Dear all, I have had a scan on my thyroid, due to it being painful when swallowing on the right side of my thyroid and because I have all the symptoms of an under active thyroid. The scan showed my thyroid is normal but I have two 3mm and 5mm colloid cysts. The GP said they’re nothing to worry about, but if I’ve had pain in swallowing for over a year and pain in the right side of my thyroid, could this be to do with these cysts? Please can anyone help advise me? Are they really nothing to worry about? Thank you for any advice in advance.
