Matt Hancock is Answering Questions on Instagram

Matt Hancock has tweeted he will be answering questions on Instagram. I don't have an Instagram account but I am tempted to make one and ask him about the treatment of thyroid disease sufferers. He has said we can ask him anything.

Of course it is welcome that we know this is happening. But, please, avoid political comments on this thread.

This is not meant to be a political thread. As you know I did ask my MP to ask him about the treatment of thyroid disease and I didn't get very far as usual.

No criticism intended - I know. Just we have found that there is a tendency for threads to go that way. I would rather this thread remained open and collected appropriate non-political comments. :-)

I’m not on either but would love to ask where Michael Gove’s wife gets NDT ?

My Rheum said last week that she fears being struck off if she prescribes it and my Endo has just written in a letter to my GP yesterday that there have been no successful requests for NDT on the NHS alrhough he thinks Levo caused me a Sjogrens flare x

There were no requests for NDT (in UK) because it had been withdrawn by the 'authorities' without notice and in an instant due to False Statements.

That's why your Endo wrote to your GP and was the reason there were no successful requests because it had been withdrawn altogether.

The organisation took the opportunity to withdraw NDT through 'misinformation!".

One of Thyroiduk's Advisers wrote to the BTA et al and for three years requested a response but they never did respond.

Dr Lowe died shortly thereafter and he was a greatly missed for his sensible attitude but most of all 'he cared so much' for people who were struggling to recover their health when there was a solution.

The BTA withdrew it, just like T3, instantly without giving any patients a forewarning. Maybe they'd imagine the barrage they would receive from patients who were well upon NDT and others when they removed T3. Then, of course, the suppliers put up the cost of T3 to make it impossible for the NHS to pay.

Dr Lowe was a scientist/researcher and would never prescribe levo. He only prescribed NDT or T3 for patients who were 'thyroid hormone resistance. Read the following:-
