My temperature regularly fluctuates by more than .1c, sometimes by quite a bit. In some places like STTM - they mention if your temperature fluctuates by more than .2F / .1C(?) then you need adrenal support.
What other things are likely to cause your temperature to fluctuate? I just want to query as I got an adrenal stress index test back in 2014 and it showed high cortisol- I've linked it in my last post. What other things can cause your temperature to fluctuate, I'm guessing its not really a reliable test?

There are normal body temperature fluctuations with our circadian rhythm as well as what we're doing, eating/drinking, wearing, indoors/outdoors, infections, etc. This is why the Barnes basal body temperature test needs to be done first thing before getting out of bed to get a baseline temperature, & doing anything that may increase or change it. I did this for 4 months prior to starting thyroid hormones, & had only had about three variations of 0.1 degree celcius. After a year I got used to the lovely hormones then settled on seasonally varied doses, so I go by how I feel. I've just ordered a new thermometer just in case I have another blip though I don't need to check if I'm under or overmedicated as the signs are clear. I'd not worry about such small changes in your own temperature unless you feel off & think there's something gone awry.
