Does anyone have information about THYROID TRANSPLANTS by Russian science professor Vladimir Mironov using a 3D printed thyroid gland or information on anyone else doing research with regrowth of thyroid by other method ?

Sounds great but would you need to be on steroids and drugs to stop rejection for life.

They use your own cells so no rejection

Sounds wonderful, and in somes cases (assuming it works as well as could eb hoped), it would be fantastic. However, I suspect not always:

If someone has autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's), what would prevent the replacement also being destroyed?
