I went to see the private GP I’ve been seeing re thyroid last week to receive blood test results and for a general check etc. To my surprise and shock apparently my liver is struggling. I’m not a heavy drinker nor do I take lots of painkillers etc. She is repeating the liver function test in 5 weeks after which I may be referred. I have a friend with hyperthyroidism who also has liver issues. I was reading somewhere that there is a connection between thyroid disease and liver disease. Does anyone have any information on this please? Needless to say I’m now worrying about that!

Getting correctly treated. Often just levothyroxine is inadequate
Obviously looking at previous posts you were on just Levo for many years
But are now on NDT, so hopefully improving
