This site seems to be "All About Thyroid". I'm now over 77 yrs and in U.S...we never talk or seem to care about t4's or any of your Thyroid function stats. I'm sorry if your thyroids are in dysfunction, but I feel pretty good for my age, and thyroid topic has never yet been broached. I AM a believer in taking as many Vit and Mineral supps as possible...A,B,C,D3,E, also probiotics (I have IBS), enzymes and one Mg 400mg, in addition to high fiber and high Mg foods. Leaning toward vegan more and more; but love fish and some crustaceans, though they may be less responsibly sourced. Spinach is kind of a fetish for me; but love it as a go-to veg. Do you folks in UK get good fish and seafood? What are your favorite veggies? I live in LasVegas, so we don't get too whacked out over winter, and almost never worry about humidity. We're supposed to have about 30% chance of rain from Hanukkah thru Christmas (Yeah!) We live in a higher (abt.1500' abv. sea lev.) part of the valley, but are only abt 22 mis from a ski range...where they have actual snowfall. Happy, Merry to you all!

Yes you are correct - this site is all about thyroid ! So much to read and learn. So you suffer with a syndrome - sorry to read that. It's possible that your Thyroid may well be producing T4 but not converting into the Active T3 - which can result in IBS and other symptoms. T3 receptors are highest in the gut after the brain.
Even the French think our shellfish is the very best !

Well, not this site, exactly, just this forum. The site - HealthUnlocked - has forums on just about every health aspect imaginable. So, if thyroid isn't your problem, maybe there's something else that would interest you more. Although, to be honest, tinnitus, IBS and constipation does sound as if your thyroid is struggling a bit. Might be a good idea to get it checked out.
Happy Merry to you, too.
There are lots of communities where people discuss health issues in three different languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese) on HealthUnlocked. If thyroid problems aren't one of your interests you can see the other communities here :
healthunlocked.com/communities
You can also search for communities based on treatments :
and on health conditions :
As stated above this is a forum purely for those who have problems with their thyroid gland, whether it be hyper-thyroidism or hypo-thyroidism.
All common diseases and autoimmune conditions are also catered for by Healthunlocked.
