I know this is nothing to do with Thyroid, although her TSH was only 0.02! but can any one help with these or recommend another group to ask, We don't know what it means. Im guessing she has a problem with lactose according to the last result??
They are my daughters results, she is 24. Major tummy cramps wind and weight loss!!
Thank you in advance x

Has your daughter been tested for Coeliac Disease?
For a blood test to be accurate, she needs to eat gluten containing foods for 6 weeks prior to the test. A more accurate test is an endoscopic gut biopsy - a minuscule snip from the small intestine can check for Coeliac Disease (and cancer) and the person carrying out the test will be able to see whether the villi are as they should be i.e. standing up and not flattened, as they are in CD. Hope this helps.
As you have Hashimoto's it's much more likely for your daughter to have it too
Gluten intolerance (not coeliac) is extremely common with Hashimoto's
Hashimoto's frequently starts with mix of hypothyroid and hyperthyroid type symptoms including weightloss
She needs TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) diagnosed by raised Thyroid antibodies
Ask GP to test vitamin levels and thyroid antibodies
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)
Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies or all vitamins
Cheapest option for just TSH, FT4 and FT3 £29 (via NHS private service )
Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have special offers, Medichecks usually have offers on Thursdays, Blue Horizon its more random
