Feeling shakey

Edit ****

I’ve just worked out that my ;

T4 is 64.29 through the range

T3 is 133.33 through the range

Should I just stay on the lower dose or miss a few doses out to get it down quicker ?

I reduced my T3 2 weeks ago from 18.75 to 12.5 as was over the range (7.5 top range 6.5 ) as per my Endo but I’m feeling very shakey, and off the pace and a bit dizzy, is this normal? I couldn’t cut my pills any smaller than 6.25 , do I just need to ride it out any suggestions please , I’ve felt like this for a few days now.

I just don’t know what to suggest. I’m sorry.

I take combined T4 and T3 and just can’t get well.

I’ve had to lower my T3 levels because they were just over range and now I don't feel well at all.

I’m starting to feel very sceptical about it all.😩

Are you seeing and Endo ?

I do see an endo at the hospital and he’s great but he’s also said I’m one of his most difficult cases.... 😩

I think I need supra physiological doses of T3 to feel well but then I get too hot.... and they don’t like the T3 over range.....

Yes my Endo is lovely too but I worked out my t3 is 133.3 through the range so no wonder I feel so rubbish, so I’m going to have a blood test in 8 weeks and would rather have more thyroxine and stay on a lower T3 , I can’t be done with this rollercoaster, what’s your next step ?

Was your T3 really high?

I’ve felt better with a T3 level about 6.6

It was 7.5 I think I’m about the same 6.5 top end of the range , but being over is so scary, I think you have to really know your own body , I felt overmedicated , so bloods in 8 weeks again 🤷🏽‍♀️

What were your overmedicated symptoms?

Palpitations were bad and my husband listened to my heart and said felt like it skipped a beat , very hot and just a bit off the pace , I think I now know when I’m not optimal, but even on just thyroxine I knew when my dose was wrong , you have to trust how you feel on this journey I think,

Just read your profile , wow you’ve been through it , I like you thought T3 was the answer to my prayers , it have to say the last few weeks have been awful with palpitations and now possibly t3 levels reducing to quickly. I don’t know if it’s for me either?

What were your actual results and ranges for FT3 and FT4 ? Plus TSH

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .

Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).

If/when also on T3, make sure to take last dose 8-12 hours prior to test, even if this means adjusting time or splitting of dose day before test

Is this how you did the test?

What are your most recent vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 results?

What vitamin supplements do you currently take?

Do you always get same brand of Levothyroxine and T3?

The ranges are T4 (9.0 -23 ) my level 18

T3 ( 3.5 - 6.5 ) my level 7.5

Yes all bloods done as per protocol

Vitamins were all good at the beginning of the year will have new one done in 6 weeks B vitamins restarted after hand operation

Vit D with K

B12 and vitamin B complex

Magnesium citrate.

Yes same brand of both .

Ok

Perhaps higher FT3 results are due to stopping vitamin supplements.

Good vitamin levels help utilise thyroid hormones

Clear that operation upset your equilibrium

Getting vitamins tested should reveal more

There's perhaps room for small increase in Levothyroxine instead

Has your Thybon Henning arrived yet?

Thank you I will look to have my vitamins when I can afford it, and yes it has , but my Endo suggested to keep on the same brand until my next bloods early January, then switch , am I doing the right thing with my T3 by staying on 12.5 every day or should I reduce further to get it to a more acceptable level ?

Personally.....I would stay put.

Try to get regular gentle exercise.
