I read that Ahwagandha is very good for hypothiroid and had a lot of good property, it must be talked with your doctor, and taken for a short period then stop and start a new cycle.
I will ask my neighbour because she start taking it.
Does anyone knows or are currently taking it?

Be aware that whatever it says about the thyroid, Ashwagandha is an adaptogen and can lower cortisol which can mess up your adrenals. Research well if you are considering using it.
I take it for low cortisol (although most people think it lowers cortisol, I find that it raises mine). Doesn't seem to have any effect on thyroid for me
I very much doubt that. If they did, they wouldn't be complaining because it was lowered, would they. And, I know what it's supposed to be, and supposed to do, but it doesn't always live up to its reputation. None of the adaptogens do, from what I've read. When something seems too good to be true, it usually is, in my experience. But, we're all different, and if you're one of the people they work for, good for you.
in some studies it can raise testosterone and lead to hair loss in some women so beware this is one side effect just discovered by a hair dr on the hairhelp.com page...
