Me too. He has also said Adrenavive 125mg once a day. Just never heard of ashwagandha.

Do you have low cortisol ? Mine was virtually non existent. Can I ask why he advised Adrenavive ? What symptoms do you have if you don't mind me asking . Thanks

Yes I do, all times of the day:

Cortisol morning 3.4 (3.7-9.5)

Cortisol noon 0.7 (1.2-3.0)

Cortisol evening 0.3 (0.6-1.9)

Cortisol night 0.4 (0.4-1.0)

I am guessing he is advising to help my adrenals.

I have all hypo symptoms and a complete inability to handle stress, even silly things get me going.

I am exactly the same . I am seeing an integrated Doctor . I have had a food intolerance test and have gone gluten and dairy free. I am allergic to Cows Milk , eggs and yeast . I am doing a private thyroid test in the morning . I just have to try everything. Anxiety , depression, dizzy spells and joint and muscle pain , lethargy are the symptoms I am getting . Let's hope we get to the root cause .

All my problems are due to a wonky thyroid and adrenal glands.

Over the years I have been tested for allergies, intolerences, coeliac etc. I do not have any food intolerances.

Therefore, I am hoping the meds and supplements will help in the long term, since I only started them all at the end of March.

Good luck to us and everyone else in feeling well :-)

Hi, you mentioned " dizzy spells", and I start having them 2 years ago, I have seen all kind of doctor but nobody knew why.

I noticed that everytime I would get upset or tired I would get dizzy.

Can you tell me about your dizzy moment and what will trigger them?

Thank you so much!

Hello , I think my dizziness is caused by anxiety. I suffer severe anxiety and this is one of the most common symptoms .

Well I have no problems with potatos, tomatos, aubergines etc so if that is what you mean, I think I am okay:-)

I am still not sure if I will take ashwagandha. I already take so many tablets/supplements that I rattle lol

Pukka herbs brand contains iodine which is generally not recommended if hypo.

I use the powder as it more flexible than capsules (and cheaper). I get Ashwagandha Powder (Organic) from Detox Trading

Good afternoon ajs100uk,

I also tried Ashwagandha for Adrenal Fatique but sadly it caused severe diarrhoea in my case, so did Nutri Adrenal and a few other products, so I ended up using lots of buffered vitamin C, pink himalayan salt, meditation, yoga and making sure I allowed at least 30 minutes every day to do something that I enjoyed (I.E not work) now my adrenals are fine thank goodness.

Best wishes

So pleased for you kitten :-)

I am so bunged up abit of diarrhoea would be welcome LOL

I have a long way to go, I get soooo stressed (like anger stress) over even the smallest thing and I cannot control it. I am doinfpg deep breathing though :-)

I have ordered some but still not sure whether to take it :-)

Morning Ajs100uk,

The adrenal fatique can cause such symptoms, It was awful - especially the sense of doom in my case. I had to change a lot of things as well but if you deal with one a time, over time you will see lots of little improvements that mount up.

Also Laughter is great from the Adrenals (Norman Cousins found that really benefical) I always watched something really funny when I was feeling run down and depleted - it really helped.

It may seem like a long way off, but you will get there, I can not stress just how important Vitamin C was (in my case buffered) When things were really bad I was taking up to 8 tablets a day, Dr Peatfield said it was safe to have 10 a day if needed because if you took to much it would come straight out the other end.

Take Care

Debs

What is Himalayan salt helping you with? Are you referring in cooking, or supplement?

Thanks!
