I treat my T3 that same as my Levo, I take it on an empty stomach one hour before or 2 hours after food, water only for an hour each side.

It's very individual how people space their doses so you'll need to experiment. I take my first dose with my Levo in the early hours of the morning when I need a visit to the loo. That can be anywhere between 3am and 6am or even 7am. Second dose is 4.30pm. Others may take their second dose at bedtime. One member splits hers into 3 doses evenly spaced throughout the day.

I have the same routine more or less. One dose with livo in the early morning & the other around 5. Both on empty stomach but I may eat after 30 min only not 1 hr

And I'm different - I experimented with lots of different times and if I leave it to after 4pm, I can't sleep at night, so I take my first dose first thing in the morning with my levo then the second dose I take after lunch 3pm - 4pm

I take mine in 3 doses, one as I wake up, another around 11.30am and the last dose around 3pm. Each dose is 25mcg as I am a T3 only person. I take mine by dissolving in my mouth under my tongue and find it works very well. This means that I only need to wait about 10 mins after each dose for it to become active and then I can eat again straight away.

Probably generated from her thyroid. She makes T4 but is probably a bad converter - hence takes just T3.

I take all of mine at about 4 a.m., sometimes I don’t wake and it can be as late as 6 a.m. Usually if I ask my body to wake at 4 a.m. I will wake within 5 minutes of that time. It’s a pity that when I ask my body to stop hurting it doesn’t.

I take mine early morning and late morning/early afternoon because its the easiest times for me where my food and other meds don't interfere.

I tried splitting doses once but had a really hard time finding myself with an empty stomach and capable of waiting another hour to eat. I gave up and stuck to the early morning only routine. By the time I have had a shower, got dressed, made my bed, emptied the dish washer, cleaned up last night's cat dishes, fed the cats, walked down the field to feed the feral cats, mixed the peacock's special food (because he is a fussy little bug***) , fed the chickens, waited for the kettle to boil - one hour has lapsed! Then I tell "everyone" it's MY TURN, all shut up and go away.

When I started on t3 and upped my dose I tried to take it in 2 then 3 split doses. Didn't work so ended up taking it all at bedtime. No problems with sleeping. Jo xx
