I am new to this group, so I'm hoping to get some advice on what I'm going through. It has been way over a year since I had TT. My thyroid was removed due to toxic nodules, no cancer, thank God. However, I am now dealing with pain in my neck and throat, it also feels as if there is some swelling above my throat. My face is constantly flushing, my joints hurt , my breast hurts and I have been constipated for many years and can't seem to find relief anymore. I have gained weight after losing over 30 pounds right after I had my surgery. I really don't know where to turn, Doctors now days don't show much concern, especially if you have more then one illness. I will be grateful for any advice given.

Hi. thanks for responding, I was put on 125mg of levothyroxine and I have been on that dose every since my surgery. I haven't had any blood work done in a while, however,I will be meeting with a NP on November 15th so I'm hoping she will be able to help me. I know that my vitamin D level is low and I'm suppose to take vitamin d3 but cannot tolerate due to the chronic constipation, it only makes it worst. I also know that my calcium level ranges in the 10 category, from what I have learned I'm thinking that it is too high for my age.
