Late period

Hi,

this ones for the lady’s, is it normal to have sore breast for about a week or two? And a week late period? It’s driving me mad the tenderness of my boobs. Can’t even lye on my side😫 is this normal with thyroid problems??? And no I’m not pregnant I’m in a same sex relationship 😅

Breast discomfort and late menses can occur in peri-menopause. Symptoms can vary a lot during this transition phase - but you should see your GP really if this is a new thing for you. I certainly experienced all manner of problems, but as there may be a teeny tiny chance that this could be something other than a hormonal blip it is worth getting checked out.

For the pain you could try some Magnesium body lotion or gel as Magnesium tends to reduce swelling. Some people use ibuprofen gel but I'd always give Magnesium a go as it is more 'natural' - I use it for my back.

I take evening primrose oil capsules to stop breast pain... Tender ??? Oh gosh hurt like heck but evening primrose works. You have to give it a few months and not give up. When cutting costs once I stopped taking it and never again, it took months to build up properly again.
