I have discovered a large lump in my neck and my doctor referred me to an ENT consultant. Apparently the lump is a cyst which needs removed but I had to go for an Ultrasound to confirm what type of cyst and what surgery will be required.
However the ultrasound showed lots of nodules on my Thyroid. I am waiting to go back for an appointment on 9th October to discuss further. I have been ill for months now and the GP keeps telling me its low iron (but not anemia).
My symptoms include constant tiredness, cold, bowel & stomach issues, depression, anxiety, feeling faint, night sweats. Could this be thyroid related?

It certainly could be thyroid-related - but probably not nodule-related. Most people have nodules on their thyroid, even if they have no thyroid problems. It's just a fact of life. And, they very rarely cause problems.
However, if you have one so large that it can be felt, did they suggest a biopsy?
Have you had thyroid blood tests? If so, what were the results?
