I have hypo thyroid and hasimoto, gluten free, sugar free,no coffee.I am 60 and my recent results are -TSH 1.06 (ref. 0.35-4.94) fT3 3.1 (ref. 2.6-5.7) fT4 10.9(ref. 9-19.1) .I am on 0.12 micrograms of Eutyrox daily and once a week one whole tablet,as my endo recommended. I am feeling awful, have problems sleeping, inner shaking and balance issue,Previously I was on one 0,25 daily, but my TSH dropped to 0.5 so she increased.
I think I have to make appointment with a new endo.Suggestion about suplements, please. My GP suggested AD,I dont want as not feeling D.
Thank you all,love Sylvie

Yes, you are undermedicated. The aim of a treated hypo patient generally is for TSH to be 1 or below or wherever it needs to be for FT4 and FT3 to be in the upper part of their reference ranges, if that is where you feel well. Both FT4 and FT3 are very low in range and you need an increase in your Levo to raise them.
I am on 0.12 micrograms of Eutyrox daily and once a week one whole tablet
Do you mean EUTHYROX or EUTIROX?
I think there must be some mistake. Euthyrox comes in 100mcg and 50mcg tablets. Eutirox seems to come in various dose strengths - 25mcg, 50mcg, 75mcg, 88mcg, 100mcg, 112mcg, 125mcg, 137mcg.
Perhaps you can clarify exactly what you are taking?
You probably don't need an antidepressant, just an increase in your Levo dose.
Suggestion about suplements,please
We would need to see test results for
Vit D - result and unit of measurement
B12 - result and unit of measurement
Folate
Ferritin
to be able to suggest supplements. If you take anything at the moment, please say what and the dosage.
I am taking 22mg zink daily+vit D4000 units,vitamin C in food,magnesium glycinate 350 daily,few brazil nuts,omega 3 one daily,but not everything every day.My feritin is 70 and vit D 104.Vit B I did for some time now dont,as have read some negative sides,not sure
I have anxiety and inner shaking and never had that before, had MR is good, havenot done B12 and folate, should I,still working and it is so difficult with a symptoms, and have to do babysitting for the grandchildren. Thank you so much.
What is the unit of measurement for Vit D - nmol/L or ng/ml?
Are you taking Vit K2 as a cofactor of Vit D?
Did you test zinc?
Yes you should test B12 and Folate.
If you are taking Brazil nuts for selenium then does the packet say "Grown in selenium rich soil" and tell you where they were grown? If not there could be no selenium content in them. The only way to know how much selenium you are getting is to take a supplement.
Can you please clarify if you are taking EUTHYROX or EUTIROX and exactly how much so comment can be made about that.
Thank you for the quick reply,I am taking Euthyrox made by Merck, listen to this, HALF of tablet of 25 micrograms and once a week whole tablet,to my endo rec. and my recent lab results are :
TSH 1.09( ref. 0.35-4.94) previously 1.5 a few monts ago
fT3 3.1( ref. 2.6-5.7) previously 4
fT4 10.9 (ref. 9.0 19.1) previously 13
I have been told by other members that I am undermedicated,so instantly increasing dose and looking for other endo.
I am not taking cofaktor K2 but home made kefir with D3,1 drop contains 400UI and I take 10 drops daily,my last result was around 100.
Selenium that I take does not say anything, from the big box,so I am swiching back to Selenium tablets.Did not test zink but taking with vitamin D.
Any other suggestions, thanks so much for all oif your help.
Your doctor is giving you a ridiculously small amount of Levo. A normal starter dose is 50mcg unless the patient is a child, elderly or has a heart condition.
I would imagine your symptoms are related to your low thyroid hormone levels - your FT4/FT3 being very low in range.
You need to increase your Levo.
