Hi everyone, I know we've been here before about the lumps and swelling in left side of neck , but things have now progressed, they have now spread to just below the front of my collar bone , it is more the swelling that the lumps , it at times can be very sore but always very uncomfortable.
I went to GP 4 weeks ago , he said he was going to do an URGENT referral to get this looked at by a specialist , but 4 weeks later am still waiting for said appointment, I've not even had a confirmation letter from the hospital to even say they've received the referral. Saw another GP 2 weeks ago as an urgent appointment because was struggling to cope with the pain and discomfort, she said there was nothing she could do speed things up with specialist as previous GP had already put this through as an urgent cancer referral . Obviously , now after hearing that , I am going out of my mind with worry and anxiety , dont know what to do or who to turn to . Just a thought that had crossed my mind , would it be the T3 that has contributed to the spread of the lumps and swelling ?? I know I already had the lumps and swellings in my neck before I started T3 , but it's just a thought , along with tons of others that are going through my head .
I hope that the good people here can give me some good sound help and advice ( as you have already done previously ) in this matter as i am at wits end , literally.
