My problem is muscle weakness. Since introducing T3 it will resolve for 4/5 weeks before returning. I’ve found increasing the dose helps but again only for 4/5weeks.
Anyway, last week I increased my dose again and I’m now taking 2x15mcg T3 and 125mcg levo per day.
I think my T3 is now too high. I don’t have any issues with heart rate etc but I am finding I feel more tired when walking (like I’ve lost the spring in my step and I’m trudging along!) and this is how I felt when I was taking too much levo. Would this be possible? Would it feel the same?
I’m also getting pressure in my chest and head when I exercise, something I only ever had before with low thyroid levels when in levo only.
So I want to try reducing the T3 again and increasing my T4 back to mid range.
What’s the best way to do it? Obvs the reduction in T3 will kick in around 3 days but the levo will take weeks to come up. I don’t want to feel rubbish in the interim!
Has anyone else tried this and how did it work?

The muscle weakness is what confuses me. On high doses of levo it didn’t resolve, it does for periods of time with T3. I’m definitely feeling like a heavy lump again though and that for me is a high thyroid meds thing.
So, is it ok just to reduce the T3 and wait for the levo to pick up?
All vitamins and mins should be ok. It a while since they were don’t but I have had a good routine with them for about 18 months now. The only thing was ferritin but now that I’m taking it with the digestive enzymes it seems to be picking up.
I will brave the ridiculous wait at my gp and get tested in the next few weeks.
