Any qualified persons to take bloods

Hi

Is there anyone in the north west/ Southport area willing and able to do private bloods. Any suggestions?

Finger prick doesn’t work for me. Really tried but no success.

Happy to travel . Will use blue horizon or similar. Any help appreciated. Please pm me. Gp surgery did it once but said no more private bloods

You could use your postcode to find one of the Medichecks clinics :

medichecks.com/find-a-clinic

I would guess that they would do phlebotomy for people who phone up and ask, even if the person asking isn't a patient of Medichecks.

I forgot to say that you will have to ask how much they charge - some places charge a lot. I once needed a phlebotomist and phoned up a place I found somehow, and was told the charge was £45. I went elsewhere...

Can you get to Liverpool? I’m a phlebotomist there and we all do private bloods so you won’t have a problem getting it done.

There’s no charge we work for the nhs and do gp/hospital bloods but if you go with your private ones just tell them you send them off for research. Most of us don’t mind doing them but you do get the odd one!

This is all the clinics and times. Just make sure you go at least an hour before closing because if it’s busy we take the tickets in early x

Blue Horizon is perhaps a bit more expensive
