NHS page states Levothyroxine should be free but what to tick on the form?

On the NHS medical exemption cert form there isn't a check-box for Hypothyroidism? Any idea what I could do? It's costing me a fortune as their only prescribing 6 weeks-worth at a time.

You’re looking for “myxoedema” rather than hypothyroid. Is it on the form?

Look for Myxodema, that's what it is.

Ahh thanks - I googled M and it looked like a more extreme form of Hypothyroidism - didn't know Hypothyroidism was also called that.

I swear they do it on purpose to confuse people and put people off from claiming.

Cynical, moi? :-o

Note that it’s specifically treatment for hypothyroidism that is free, not all Levo: those with Graves’ being treated with levothyroxine plus carbimazole won’t get it free (if they live in England)
