Welcome to our forum and I'm sorry you had to have a thyroidectomy.

Also you are very young - 19 - but I'm glad you seem to be doing fine on your thyroid hormone replacements.

What thyroid hormone replacement do you take and dose?

You may do the following but, just in case, I will give the information we advise when new to the forum.

All blood tests have to be at the earliest possible, fasting (you can drink water) and allow a gap of 24 hours between last dose of hormones and the test and take afterwards.

Are all your vitamins/minerals at an optimum, i.e. B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate.

No vitamins as my calcium levels are OK I'm on 150mg of thyroxine but my levels are extremely high right now so it'll probably be lower soon.

Your Endocrinologist should aim for a TSH of around 1 and that both Frees, i.e. T4 and T3 are optimum (i.e. near top of range). Some of us cannot convert T4 (inactive hormone) into T3. It is T3 that is needed in all of our T3 receptor cells and brain and heart contain the most.
