Hi, this is Brittany and I have posted on here before. I have panhypopituitarism (heck of a word)! Anyways, I'm on levothyroxine 50 tab 1 x daily and I have depression and anxiety horrible so Zoloft 50 mcg daily, iron etc a lot of vitamins!!! They said i had adreanal insufficiency and fatigue, so I was on hydrocortisone, not anymore since my cortisol levels are now in the normal range. Iv had hormones tested also, so far they say it's all good, now, but why am I so weak fatigued all the time and the scariest issue yet is for months kv been needing to eayarge amounts to even get satisfied!! It happens everyday and most days it HAS to be good I would of normally never ate, chips, tortillas etc.. I'm not understanding why and I can't stop. Does healing from adreanal fatigue do this??? What's happing to me?? I'm scared and alone and isk what to do anymore.

50mcg Levothyroxine is only a starter dose of Levothyroxine
Obviously with adrenal issues your dosehas to be increased very carefully and slowly, but it's highly likely you need dose increase in Levothyroxine
Have you had FULL Thyroid testing recently. Obviously a TSH is especially useless in your case so essential to test FT3 and FT4
Bloods should be retested as early as possible in morning and fasting and last Levothyroxine dose 24 hours before blood test
The aim of Levothyroxine is to increase the dose slowly in 25mcg steps upwards until TSH is under 2 (many need TSH significantly under one) and most important is that FT4 in top third of range and FT3 at least half way in range
Essential to regularly retest vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin. All four vitamins need to be regularly tested and frequently need supplementing to maintain optimal levels
NHS guidelines on Levothyroxine including that most patients eventually need somewhere between 100mcg and 200mcg Levothyroxine.
Sounds as if you're under-medicated and craving salt. Craving salt is due to low cortisol, so are you sure you're levels haven't gone down again since you stopped the HC?
Depression and anxiety are hypo symptoms.
Do you know what caused your hypopituitism? I don't think you are panhypopituitism as that would mean that you have to replace all your hormones. Do you know what your cortisol level results were? It sounds that they are not at optimal levels. With hypopituitism you will have had adrenal insufficiency not adrenal fatigue as you were put on Hydrocortisone. It's also important to be under the care of an Endocrinologist who understands pituitary/adrenal issues.
