I can fully sympathise with you, I tripped and fell headlong in the garden 2 weeks ago smashing my own wrist into the trunk of my myrtle tree.
It’s a nightmare not being able to do anything.
Best Wishes for your recovery. x
Snap! Nearly 2 years on with a very prominent scar and little use of 3 fingers! Thinking back to the operation which took mins plus prep I was washed out by the time I got home. They were going to ring me during the afternoon to make sure the anaesthetic had worn off and I could feel my fingers. I was out for the count though I had told my son early that got feeling back but it took me a while to bounce back .plus I found the drive for a long time which didn't help. I couldn't have a pot on after though as had a PE in the past so make be I was getting more pain as minimal wrist support. Thankfully I was given the go ahead to drive though I then changed my car to an automatic as it was my right wrist so didn't like just having that hand on the wheel whist changing year plus I live in a hilly place so extra use of gear stick. Got eventually a knife with a padded handle but still no strength to press to cut but can, just recently, cut up some foods. But I think the shock and the operation gave the usual debilitating effects that upset the Thyroid but I love driving so worked very hard to get back there again.
