U3 nodule

I've received my results for ultrasound of thyroid and been told I have a multinodular goitre, with retrosternal extension. Mainly benign u2 but the big nodule is u3 as it is slightly vascular. Can anyone advise on typical waiting times for a biopsy? I have been referred to ent. It doesn't fall in the two week pathway. I haven't a clue how long it will take to have an appointment for biopsy and then poss ent? Thanks!

No idea, sorry, before I moved to France and that was four years ago an FNA took about 5/6 weeks in the UK.

No worries, thanks though. The radiologist said I'd probably be back with him in a few weeks but I cant see that happening lol not had appointment letter yet. Sure I've read somewhere u3 is a 28 day referral rather than 2 week for cancer
