Hi! I am desperate you donate blood or anything that can save someone's life but everyone seems to refuse me since I had thyroid cancer....
Please could someone tell me some good news that there is something you give, whilst I'm alive and I can't give a kidney because I'm in 20 too 30 tablets a day for other stuff.... thanks for your help.

If your doctors have advsed you not to give blood, there's a good reason.
Lots of helpful things you can do that don't involve loss of blood or body parts, though perhaps fill in a donor card for organs that won't be damaged by medication if your doctor says it's ok, or donate your body to medical science.
I filled in a donor consent form online so I'm registered on the database, & carry a card that was sent in the post. I volunteer for a local charity & events when I'm well enough, upcycle stuff I don't need for local homeless people , help a friend's critter rescue, & needle people. Another friend does sponsored events, not all involve a lor of energy, just some time commitment, There are local organisations that match volunteers with local charities that need help.
