Severe itching

I am adrenal insufficient I moved to Germany 6 months ago and since then the itchy skin i have has become unbearable. Due to the steroids my skin is so thin that scratching is ripping me to pieces. Has Anyone had this I blame the steroids and the German water but nothing is giving me relief any suggestions

It could be the fillers in the medication that is the problem. Have a look at the patient information leaflet that comes with the medication and see if anything is known to be a problem for you, otherwise try a different brand and see if that gives relief. The other way may be take an anti histamine one hour before medication then if that gives no problem than that tells you itcis the fillers.

I’ve been taking hydrocortisone for years with no problem other than skin was a bit dry but this is unbearable something is going on I’m going to ask to see an endo

Hi, I'm also in Germany. Whereabouts are you? the water here is very soft and as such don't need as much soap etc as it lathers up so well. I know when my eldest 2 do some washing and put a whole cup of powder in i get really itchy. Also look at your meds as suggested. I take 1a pharmacy l-thyroxin 100mcg.

Hi I’m in Vetschau, Brandenburg this itching is driving me nuts also loosing all my body hair and starting on my head I think there is something going on with my petuitry gland my thyroid result was ok
