I got my results back from this week. Saw Endo today she has suggested I change from 88mcg T4 and 5mcg T3 to 75mcg T4 and 10 mcg T3 (one 5mcg morning, one 5mcg 2/3pm)
TSH 0.53 range 0.2-4.5
FT3 5 range 2.5-2.4
FT4 15 range 9-21
Any advice welcome on this dose change and these results! Endo did mention FT3 slightly over the range at 5 but not sure if that will be ok with this dose alteration.
Thank you as always 😊

Your FT4 is 50% through range, reducing your Levo is going to lower your FT4. Some of us do fine with a low FT4 when on combination Levo/T3, some of us need it a good way through range (I need both FT4 and FT3 at around 75% through range on combo meds).
FT3 5 range 2.5-2.4
I think there's a typo for the upper end of the range there.

I can't get my head around why she would increase your T3 if your FT3 is over range, it's likely going to push your FT3 even higher.
How do you actually feel with these results?
What are your Vit D, B12, Folate, Ferritin levels?
I thought by reducing he T4 down to 75mcg this would allow for the T3 5mcg increase? Not sure on this though.
Is it a bad idea to increase then?
I don’t feel amazing to be honest I am very fatigued still and sore joints, not felt amazing for awhile. My iron and vitamin b12 are all normal just tested recently and over the ranges, vit d is also high in range.

Presumably you are taking T3 because your conversion is poor? If you reduce your Levo then this will reduce your FT4 and, depending on how much natural conversion you may still have will reduce FT3 to some extent. Adding extra T3 will make up for the reduction in natural conversion (if you still have some) but will likely increase FT3 as well. Like I say, I'm not sure what your endo expects to happen to your already over range FT3 by increasing your T3. But your FT4 is very likely to be lower because you're taking less Levo and you may or may not be able to cope with a lower FT4.
But you haven't answered the question - how do you actually feel with those results? Do you think your doses need changing or do you feel fine with your levels there?
Yes I get what you mean. I don’t know if it’s such a great idea. I feel not amazing to be honest, still exhausted and wiped out at times. I feel lethargic in mornings and after lunch when T3 is due, I have joint pain and stiffness and not sure if my dose is helping me feel better yet x
The T3 makes me feel awake when I take it but only on 5mcg at present and not sure what the 5mcg increase will do but I wouldn’t want to get any sicker
