Hi Cornwell, I'm very sorry about your mother. I don't know if anyone can give you specifics as this really needs medical advice from a doctor of some sort. I know that alpha lipoic acid and Silymarin are both good support for the liver but I don't know if they can be used as treatments and it depends on what has caused the damage. There are other treatments for hyper thyroid.

Sorry to hear this. Definitely speak to your doctor like Heloise says but also check out Elaine Moore's website as I know she has stories of people in similar situations. Best wishes

Hello Cornwell, I too feel for you & your mum but no matter the cause , supporting tbe liver is key.

My mother suffered from liver issues post blood transfusions

I learned alot of how the liver works & action steps on this link :

Hi

‘Liver damage’ is a very general term

Are you implying that the carbimazole is the cause ?

There is absolutely no way that you can expect to get useful advice to your question from an Internet forum

Your mother needs to visit her GP
