Hi everyone i am new at this but in neeed of some advice .

i got diagnose last year with overactive thyroid. my consultant put me on carbimazole

dont no if i can take lodine supplement

I think your consultant is the best person to as. I assume he is keeping a close eye on you? My gut answer is probably not.

I believe the recommendation would be do not take iodine. If I fancy some prawns or eggs I tend to know that I've eaten them and have a little flare up. Iodine is for hypo. You have to watch if you take multi vitamins because most of them contain iodine - also, careful with the salt because some have iodine added.
