If you test B12 level first, you will know if you need to supplement and get an idea of how much to take.
The Active B12 test is more useful, and if the result is below 70 then that suggests testing for B12 deficiency.
If you have B12 deficiency you may need B12 injections.
If you start taking B12 now, it will skew any results if you wish to test your B12 level further down the line.
If you start taking B12 then you should also take a good B Complex to balance all the B vitamins.
