Hi, I’ve been taking lev for about 3 weeks and since taking have been plagued by a chesty, phlegm cough, since this only seems to of started since taking lev I am looking for advice, does anyone else suffer from this. Went to the chemist and spoke to them they said if persists stop taking lev and go the the doctor again, which is easier said than done.
Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also extremely important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if Thyroid antibodies are raised
