Timing of blood test NDT & T3

Hi lovely thyroid friends,

I’ve been reading lots but not got a clear idea on when I should take my NDT and T3 before blood test for most accurate results.

I take NDT at 7am and T3 at 3pm.

Any suggestions much appreciated! 😁

There should be a gap of 8-12 hours between last dose of NDT/T3 and blood draw. I change the timing of mine the day before my test to ensure I leave the right amount of time.

Thank you! So would you suggest I take my NDT and T3 all together 8-12 hours before blood draw? Many thanks 😁

What I normally do - and I nomally take Levo plus T3 all together in the early hours of the morning, on the day before the test I make sure I delay my Levo so I take it 24 hours before blood draw (24 hours is the right time gap for Levo), but I split my T3 and take one dose with the Levo and the second dose nearer bedtime, as I know my blood test will be done between 8.30 and 9am.
