How can I obtain T3 in the UK

Hi there! Am new to the UK - am hypothyroid +5years & successfully treated with T4 & T3 by a private endocrinologist. Last week I joined NHS/ saw a GP (who knew very little about Hypo/ meds/ treatments etc). She outright refused T3, said that they only treat with T4/ Levo. I insisted I needed to be kept on my same current doses ; she finally said she would refer to an Endo at a hospital ; the appointment was booked & today I got a letter from GP & Endo cancelling appt - saying that they will only treat me with T4. Can someone please point me in the right direction. (I’m currently on tertroxin 20mcg..) it appears I need to get a private script? How do I do this? Can I go back to the GP & insist on a private script? Are there GPS who are “pro” Combination RX? Thank you so much 😊 I really need some help & direction on how to get my T3 script 🌟

You can't insist on a private prescription for T3, the doctor can issue one if they're willing.
