I know that we are entitled to copies of tests from our GP surgeries, but what happens when the tests are run in a hospital by an Endo?
If we are entitled to those too, what is the process for getting them?
Sorry about the daft question, first time I've been referred, so don't know how things work. The endo simply said they'd write to my GP and send me a copy of a "letter" (so no mention of the full test results).
Thanks!

The law relates to access to personal data, it is not health specific; so yes that includes information held by hospitals. The contents of any secondary care letter to a primary care provider, will vary in the detail provided, according to the person writing, there's no standard. The letter will be advising the GP of the outcome of your appointment, so could say as little or as much about it as the Endo decides to share ie it might give the exact results of any tests, or might say something like "the results of the TFT were all within normal range so no action is required" or some such. If when you receive your copy of the letter, you need more information, you can phone the Endo's secretary and ask.
My GP had my endo test results on the link they use. Can’t remember if it’s because I wrote my gp on request form in ‘copies to box’. Your GP (reception)can also phone lab and ask for them to be emailed to them. If you’ve got a nice reception. We have no access to results via our online access.
