Antibodies question
Do you mean 'Intrinsic Factor Antibodies'? If so, they are high when you have Pernicious Anemia. TPO antibodies are high when you have Hashi's. Each autoimmune disease has its own antibodies.
Hi Greygoose, I was at a different GP today who reiterated other GPS ie TSH 0.1 to low T4 22.50 high, I’ve to get another round of tests tomorrow, but I‘ve been thinking if I have been off of Lansoprozle since last year maybe that’s causing the issue, I also after reading this site I now take my Fluoxitine 20mg at a different time from my levothyroxine. I’d appreciate your input, thanks in advance.
Rita
Without the range for the T4 I cannot say if it's high. But, neither TSH nor T4 are the important numbers. The important number is the Ft3. If they don't test they FT3, they don't know what they're talking about.
What issue do you mean? Why your TSH is low? Well, it could be that since coming off the Lansoprozole you are absorbing more levo that you did before. And certainly if you were taking Fluoxitine at the same time as your levo, that would affect absorption. But, you are only over-medicated if your FT3 is over-range. Low TSH and high FT4 are not problems in and of themselves, it all depends on the FT3.
