Hello, I have been preparing for a frozen embryo cycle over the last few weeks. This involves taking oestrogen every day to prepare my womb lining for a transfer. Prior to the cycle my TSH was slightly high for pregnancy at 2.5. The doctor advised that I increase my medication to 125mg per day/150mg at weekends.
Unfortunately the oestrogen has made my TSH shoot up to 6.6. My doctor thinks we should go ahead with increasing my dose to 150 mg today and plan for transferring this embryo in 6 days and I should test in a week and then keep adjusting the dose as necessary as TSH isn’t a problem for implantation, just for pregnancy later down the line.
My gut tells me this isn’t a great idea and that I should just cancel the cycle. I wondered if anyone had any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Had ivf for my daughter (15). Worked first time and did lots of follow up treatments but it never worked again.
I have Hashis and since found out we can have probs with implantation.
Should have gone to endo specialising in fertility but am now wise after the event. Given my time over I’d have done a ton of research before wasting my money. But I was 42 when my daughter was born, so didn’t dare delay further.
Super good luck with your fertility journey, wishing you all the very best for a beautiful bundle of joy. Xx
