Not sure what you’re saying here. Are you saying that’s the last ever batch they’re producing? Or that there’s a short expiry date on your current prescription? Please explain what you’re concerned about. Thanks.
I take mercury t3 and to be honest this morning (news/politics) I am tired of uncertainty in so many areas. ☹️
Short expiry date........but possibly both scenarios.
Hi there ...my last batch of Mercury t3 expires 2020 Jan 19. Boots told there was a supply problem.
As I was kept waiting I called Concordia head office in London to ask where I could get hold of Mercury t3 and I was told that the new batch had been sent out to all major wear houses including Boots 2 weeks ago. Good luck!
Yes,my latest tub of MP Liothyronine T3 which I picked up from my pharmacy just before Christmas,is batch no. 85151...expiry date 26/02/19.
My pharmacist pointed it out to me saying to make sure I use it straight away.
The patient leaflet also tells you not to use after the expiry date.
I have not felt so good whilst using this one which is unusual as I 've been prescribed this brand since 2014. However,as I was under the weather all over Christmas with the cough/ cold virus that has been circulating locally ,I wasn't quite sure what to blame,
but I've never previously received any thyroid meds with such a short expiry date before.I shall be interested in what happens with my next prescription.I am also aware that my pharmacy have started stocking Teva T4 which I refused as I use Actavis. They then had to search their stock to find some Actavis for me, which they've been prescribing me for many years, but told me I'm the only one using it !!! Looks like they will have to order my next replacement and I will be checking the expiry date before leaving....I have used this pharmacy for over 50 years !!
