Infrinsic factor test question

Hi all.. if i took b12 supplements now...and had an infrinsic factor test with medicheck in a few days would this also afect the test?? I know normal b12 test get afected and you shouldn't take b12 supplements...But does the antibodies test also get afected ?? Thanks everyone

Medichecks advises that vit B12 supplements should be stopped 2 weeks before having their Intrinsic Factor Antibodies test.

Hi maisie..thank you . Right ok so i better get this done.. it amazing i have spoken to 2 pharmacists now and both agree the gp should be testing to rule out pa and treating with b12 .. yet they go just dont get it . They are amazing.. lol

Well the more I'm learning about pharmacists, the less I trust them too lol.
