I'm at my wits end I've attempted to find an endocrinologists with the ability to prescribe natural thyroid medication, I've seen several and they seem unable or unwilling to go away from the NHS preferred listings of medications, doctors are at best a waste of my time as they have no concept of what I'm trying to explain, when I list the complications of the levothyroxine I'm taking I may as well be taking a foreign language,
Can anyone help please as to where I can either get a private prescription or buy the products myself.

ThyroidUK have a list of thyroid friendly endos which you can send for. The office is closed now until 3rd January but when they reopen Dionne will send you the list

There's no guarantee that any one of them will prescribe NDT so you will have to check.
If anyone can help with information about a particular doctor or a supplier of NDT they will send you a private message as we can't discuss either on the open forum.
