Hi Everyone

Can anyone tell me if we should be concerned about getting our thyroid medicines in the period immediately after Brexit? I am specifically concerned with Carbimazole.

I don't think anyone here can answer your question, nobody knows what will happen, there's only speculation and scare mongering at the moment.

Maybe ask your doctor/endocrinologist/pharmacist.

I've been told by German pharmacies that they won't sell me T3 after Brexit. I'm still hoping there'll be some kind of deal where it'll be possible.

I personally would want at least a 1 month supply, just on the off-chance! I think we'll get medical supplies ok, but I'm expecting there'll be a period of confusion and hold-ups at the borders, which may cause slight shortages in the short term.

Thanks for your comments. I don't want to stockpile and cause other people problems. If we

all trust the authorities there are less likley to be problems. However, it sees a good idea not to run out on Brexit day!
